The main endeavour of Placement Cell, Gauhati University is to develop human excellence and inculcate leadership ability in students along with facilitating appropriate utilisation of these resources through proper channelisation.

Placement Cell of the University facilitates the process of placement of students by collaborating with leading employers of both public and private sectors. The Placement Cell acts as an academia industry interface. All students registered with the Placement Cell will be provided placement assistance, job specific career counseling and motivational guidance. The placement season runs throughout the year.
