The Office of the Director of Students' Welfare (DSW), is the central body which takes care of various student affairs. It operates in close coordination with office of the Secretary, University Classes, which oversees certain affairs. The DSW office is located opposite the IDOL Building, GU and in Gauhati University Sports Complex, adjacent to the GU Stadium.
